Company OverviewIn this section we ask employers to write about:
- Who they are
- What they do
- What skills their employees possess
- What their core values are
- Their Culture
- Their clients
- Their main competitors
This way,
you can quickly learn about the employer.
You should click on the hyperlinks in the "Research the Company's website quickly
" box (3rd box down in the left column) to directly access certain pages on the Employer's corporate
website to learn about them in full detail. This will save you the time of having to learn the layout of their website so that you can quickly access the important pages and extract relevant information.
Remember to always try to reason with everything you read for example, "can I do that?", "would I enjoy doing that?", "can I offer the employer more than the that particular task requires?" etc and this should help strengthen your application as it makes clear that you understand what will be required of you and that you are prepared to carry it out to the best of your ability.

Skills we look for applicants to demonstrateWe ask employer to fill this out so that you are immediately clear whether you meet the Employer's skill requirements and whether or not you will fit into the company.
If you possess the blend of skills they outline here and believe that from reading the "About Us" section above that, you will fit into the organisation, make this clear in your application so that it is clear why you are likely to succeed within your company.
Remember to include (in your application) any reasons that attract you to work for company for example you may wish to develop several skills outlined in this box. This will demonstrate that you have considered what it will be like working for the company.
